About Pokémon X & Y

Pokémon X and Y marked the beginning of the sixth generation and a massive leap forward for the franchise. Released for the Nintendo 3DS, these were the first main series games to feature fully rendered 3D graphics, replacing the traditional sprites of the past. Set in the beautiful Kalos region (inspired by France), the game offers a stunning visual experience with dynamic camera angles and detailed environments.

You play as a young trainer leaving home in Vaniville Town. With your friends and rivals, you will explore Kalos, uncover the secrets of the ancient war, and discover the mystery behind Mega Evolution. Whether you choose X (featuring Xerneas) or Y (featuring Yveltal), you are in for a revolutionary Pokémon journey.

Why Play Pokémon X & Y Online Here?

  • 3DS in Your Browser: Emulating the Nintendo 3DS usually requires powerful software downloads. We have optimized a web-based player that brings the dual-screen 3D experience directly to Chrome and Edge.
  • The Dawn of Mega Evolution: Experience the mechanic that changed battling forever. X & Y introduced Mega Stones, allowing fan favorites like Charizard, Mewtwo, and Lucario to evolve further mid-battle.
  • Unblocked 3D Gaming: Enjoy high-fidelity console gaming on school or work networks without restrictions.
  • Save Functionality: Our system supports virtual SD card saving, meaning your Hall of Fame records and Pokédex progress are stored locally on your browser.

Game Features

  • The Fairy Type: Gen 6 introduced the Fairy type to balance the game (specifically to counter Dragons). New Pokémon like Sylveon and old favorites like Jigglypuff utilize this powerful new typing.
  • Character Customization: For the first time in a main Pokémon game, you can customize your trainer's appearance, including hair, skin tone, and outfits bought from boutiques across Kalos.
  • Pokémon-Amie: Bond with your Pokémon like never before. Pet, feed, and play mini-games with your team on the touch screen to boost their evasion and critical hit rates in battle.
  • Super Training: A dedicated mode that allows you to train your Pokémon's base stats (EVs) through mini-games, making competitive training accessible to everyone.

Controls (Keyboard)

Since the 3DS has a Circle Pad and a Touch Screen, the controls are mapped as follows:

  • Arrow Keys: Circle Pad (Movement)
  • I / J / K / L: C-Stick (Camera control in some areas)
  • Z Key: A Button (Confirm)
  • X Key: B Button (Cancel / Run / Roller Skates)
  • Q Key: L Shoulder
  • W Key: R Shoulder
  • Enter: Start
  • Mouse Click: Touch Screen Interaction (Essential for battle commands and Pokémon-Amie)

Strategy Tips for New Players

  1. The Exp. Share: In X & Y, the Exp. Share is a Key Item that gives experience to your entire party, not just one holder. If you find the game too easy, you can turn this off in the bag menu.
  2. Starter Synergy:
    • Froakie (Water): Evolves into Greninja (Water/Dark) with incredibly high speed. A fan favorite.
    • Fennekin (Fire): Evolves into Delphox (Fire/Psychic), a powerful special attacker.
    • Chespin (Grass): Evolves into Chesnaught (Grass/Fighting), a physical tank.
    • Bonus: You also get a Kanto starter (Bulbasaur, Charmander, or Squirtle) shortly after the first gym!
  3. Mega Lucario: You are given a Lucario and its Mega Stone fairly early in the story (at the Tower of Mastery). This Pokémon is extremely powerful and can sweep most Gym Leaders solo.
  4. O-Powers: Don't forget to use O-Powers from the PSS menu. These grant temporary buffs like increased capture rates, prize money, or experience points.
